Welcome to the second issue of
our parents' newsletter. We apologize for the delays as we try to send the
newsletter out around the middle of the month but we have had shortage in
volunteers...hint hint! Goodnight Stories is a free site that can only succeed with
your help and participation. All of us are volunteers and we would love to get your
participation. Send us your suggestions, forward this e-mail to your friends, or click here to e-mail them the URL.
We have received e-mail from
the owner of the site "recipes for
learning". We would like your feedback regarding the suitability of the
site for your children. Please let us know as soon as possible. Also let us know of
a any site you would like us to consider linking to or any product you would like us to
consider reviewing.
We have now 2
schools that joined our special school program. If you are a teacher or
a parent who is involved in the local school then let us know and we will work with
you to have a special sub-site that is exclusive for your school kids. You will be
able to take various parts of our current content, add to it your own and have special
reading and writing competitions for your students.
Because of the many
submissions we have received over the last few weeks, we are going to categorize the
stories into various "books" each with it's own "theme". The new
interface should be up in a few days. We think it looks great but we need your
feedback. After all it is your site and your opinion matters!
We still want to add a few
more sections but will need volunteers to help us pull it together. These sections
include a crafts section, a recipe and cooking
section, a Pen-Pal list, and chat.
We will not be able to do any of these without your help. We need volunteers for
editors, moderators, and coordinators. Please e-mail us if you are interested, and please
talk to other parents in you circle of friends...we need your help! We are also in
great need for parents to help in the reading and writing clubs.
